# Divux > Divux is a set of tools that AI assistants can use. Add one connector link to an assistant once; every Divux tool is available through it, with no account needed. ## Connect - MCP connector (streamable HTTP, no sign-in): https://mcp.divux.si - In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste the link. - In ChatGPT: chatgpt.com/plugins, the + button, Add custom MCP server, paste the link, no authentication. - In Grok: grok.com/connectors, New connector, Custom, paste the link. In Muse: ask it to add a custom connector with the link. ## Tools - Shopper: everything about buying a product, in four MCP tools. - Shopper prices: the buy step. Once the person has picked a product, finds the lowest price (item plus shipping where listed, tax excluded) across Best Buy, Walmart, The Home Depot, Costco and many more US stores, with a paid link to the Divux product page. Use it when someone is ready to buy, not to research what to buy. MCP tools: search_products (name, model or barcode) and compare_prices (offers ranked by price, each with a paid link to the Divux product page where the person picks a store; official recall notices that mention the product are added only when there are some). - Shopper recalls: official recall notices for products, food, medicines and vehicles in the US, the UK, Canada and the EU. MCP tool: check_recalls. An empty result means none was found, not that an item is safe. - Kids: a family's baby and child gear (cribs, sleepers, strollers, high chairs, furniture, infant formula and baby food, car seats) checked against official recall lists, with what each notice says to do (stop using, refund, repair kit). Car seats get the official recall and rating pages; safe-sleep and furniture tip-over guidance appears only when relevant. An empty result means none was found, not that an item is safe. MCP tool: check_kids. - Builder: for making things from lumber or sheet goods. The AI designs the project and estimates prices; Divux returns the cut plan (what to buy, where to cut, saw blade included), size fixes and a blueprint page. MCP tool: plan_build. It never looks up store prices; Shopper does that when the person wants to buy. - Recipes: the AI writes a recipe or a week of meals; Divux returns exact nutrition per serving and per day, allergen flags, recall reports for named brands, scaling to any servings, one merged shopping list rounded to what shops sell, and a page with nutrition bars and the list. MCP tool: plan_recipe. - Trip: what the US, UK and Canadian governments each advise for a country, side by side, with health notices, disaster alerts, public holidays during the trip, the weather risk for the dates and the exchange rate, each dated and linked; the cheapest round-trip or one-way fares travelers found recently for a route and month, sorted by price only, with booking links (paid links; cached finds, not live quotes; Divux never books); and delays at US airports right now. MCP tool: check_trip. Web: https://divux.si/travel and https://divux.si/travel/flights - Car: official US facts about a vehicle from a VIN or year, make and model: specs from the VIN, recalls, owner complaints with the most-reported problem areas, crash ratings and fuel economy, plus, with a distance, the fuel cost of a drive at this week's average pump price. MCP tool: check_car. No accident history, title status or value. - Game Deals: the lowest current price for a PC game across Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and other stores, with the lowest price ever and a store link for each (paid links). MCP tool: game_deals. - Money Abroad: exact math on money-transfer quotes the AI finds (fee and exchange rate per provider): what arrives, the exchange-rate markup against the reference rate, total cost, a ranking, and the average cost of sending money to that country. MCP tool: compare_transfers. - Money Value: what an amount from one year is worth in another, in any country, with the latest inflation rate. MCP tool: check_inflation. - Rates: a country's central bank rate with when it last changed and yearly inflation; in the US, today's Treasury yields with the after-inflation rate, and interest on a sum over a term. MCP tool: check_rates. - Wage: what a job pays in a US metro, state or nationally (median and range), or by job group in other countries. MCP tool: check_wage. - Company: whether a company is registered and active anywhere in the world; in the US, its consumer complaint record, whether it's an insured bank, and a public company's revenue, profit and earnings per share as filed. MCP tool: check_company. - Food: nutrition for a food from its barcode or name: values per 100 g or ml or per serving, % Daily Value, ingredients, allergens and recall reports; meals and restaurant items add up against the person's targets. MCP tool: check_food. - Cosmetics: a skincare, makeup or hair product's ingredients checked against EU cosmetics law: banned, restricted with limits and warnings, fragrance allergens that must be labelled, and allowed preservatives, UV filters and colorants; plus EU, UK and Canadian recalls naming the brand. No ratings. MCP tool: check_cosmetic. - Pets: US pet food and treat recalls by brand or product from the FDA's animal and veterinary recalls list, and what a sourced list reports about foods and plants toxic to dogs and cats (chocolate, grapes, xylitol, lilies, sago palm and more), with the source's wording, its date and the poison control phone numbers. Never says anything is safe. MCP tool: check_pet. Not veterinary advice. - Kitchen: exact kitchen numbers in both units: the federal minimum internal cooking temperatures (F and C, with rest times and a thermometer-reading comparison), fridge and freezer times for about 40 common foods, baking math (scale a recipe, baker's percentages and hydration, high-altitude adjustments with the boiling point), brine, quick pickle, curing salt, coffee and tea ratios, and ingredient swaps with egg, dairy, gluten, nut and soy flags. Each has a why-it-works line and a link to the guidance. Never says a food is safe. MCP tool: check_kitchen. - Medicine: official facts about a medicine by brand or generic name in the US and the EU: approved uses, over the counter or prescription, boxed and key warnings, the full label, recalls, shortages and what US pharmacies pay per tablet; with a second medicine, the exact label sentences that name it. MCP tool: check_medicine. Not medical advice. - Care: verify a US clinician or find one by specialty in a city or state, and Medicare star ratings for nursing homes and hospitals in a city or ZIP code. MCP tool: check_care. - Trials: clinical trials recruiting now for a condition near a place, nearest site first. MCP tool: check_trials. - Illness: outbreaks reported in any country in the past 12 months; for a US state this week, the respiratory illness level and wastewater levels for COVID, flu and RSV. MCP tool: check_illness. - Place: official facts about a US address or point: the flood zone at that spot, natural-hazard ratings, weather alerts, air quality, electricity price, internet providers, disaster declarations, earthquakes, home price trends, EV chargers, crime rates, county health, the water system and its violations, housing counselors and childcare prices; outside the US, earthquakes, disaster alerts and the weather risk. Also national parks (alerts, closures, fees, campgrounds), tonight's sky (aurora, moon, darkness, tides), nearby public schools, and a US college's real cost, graduation rate and earnings. MCP tool: check_place. - Shopper energy: ENERGY STAR certified heat pumps, water heaters, washers, dryers, refrigerators and dishwashers. MCP tool: find_energy_star. - MCP prompts for life events, each chaining several tools: moving_to (an address before a move), new_baby (gear recalls, childcare, hospitals, what's going around), buying_car (a car's record and fuel cost), trip_check (before a trip). - REST and OpenAPI: the same tools at POST https://divux.si/api/v1/tools/ with a JSON body; spec at https://divux.si/openapi.json (for ChatGPT GPT actions and other OpenAPI clients). Example: curl -X POST https://divux.si/api/v1/tools/check_place -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"lat":64.84,"lon":-147.72,"sky":true}' - Status: https://divux.si/status lists any tool with a problem in the latest twice-daily self-check. - Every tool has its own page with a recent real answer: https://divux.si/tools/game-deals, https://divux.si/tools/builder, https://divux.si/tools/car, https://divux.si/tools/money-abroad, https://divux.si/tools/company, https://divux.si/tools/wage, https://divux.si/tools/rates, https://divux.si/tools/money-value, https://divux.si/tools/medicine, https://divux.si/tools/care, https://divux.si/tools/trials, https://divux.si/tools/illness, https://divux.si/tools/food, https://divux.si/tools/kitchen, https://divux.si/tools/cosmetics, https://divux.si/tools/place, https://divux.si/tools/kids, https://divux.si/tools/pets. ## Pages - https://divux.si/about: what Divux is. - https://divux.si/blog: posts with Divux's own data (prices, recalls, travel advice, build plans); feed at https://divux.si/blog/rss.xml. - https://divux.si/shopper: Shopper prices; search and browse products, with category pages like /shopper/stick-vacuums. - Recalls show on each product page; the MCP tools check_recalls and find_energy_star cover recalls and ENERGY STAR in chat. - https://divux.si/p/: every store for one product, cheapest first, with paid store links. ## Notes - Prices are live from the data source and can change; the store's price at checkout counts. - Divux may earn a commission on store links, each marked as a paid link; commissions never change the order. - Prices and paid links: https://divux.si/how-we-rank
