Accessibility
Divux should work for everyone, with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom, or a phone. This page says what we do today, what we know still falls short, and how to tell us about a problem.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not had an outside audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What works today
- Keyboard. Every page starts with a "Skip to content" link. The photo viewer and cook mode keep focus inside while open, close with Esc, and return focus to where you were. Focus shows as a clear ring when you use the keyboard.
- Screen readers. Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled controls. Changes that appear without a reload, such as answers in Ask Divux, saved items and the chosen photo, are announced.
- Contrast and themes. Text colors are checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratio in both light and dark themes. You can pick Light, Dark or follow your device.
- Motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop or become instant.
- Zoom and small screens. Pages are checked on phone-sized screens for sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged with your browser.
- Language. The site's menus, buttons and messages are available in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese, and each page declares its language.
- Printing. Recipes, build plans and guides print in black on white without menus or buttons.
Known limits
- The 3D view of a build plan is a picture you can turn with a mouse or finger. The same plan is also given as a cut list, drawings with measurements and step-by-step text.
- Some answers come from official sources in English only; we show them as written.
- Store and travel sites that Divux links to are run by others and have their own accessibility.
Tell us about a problem
If something on Divux is hard to use, tell us on the contact page (choose "An accessibility problem") or email support@divux.si. Say which page and what you were trying to do. We read every message.
